Enable/Disable Folder Option from Registry

As in Kaushil's Previous post on Folder Option Missing helps you to show/hide folder option with Group Policy

This allows you to hide the Folder Options function from the folder Tools menu with the help of regedit. Allowing you to restrict access to numerous advanced folder features.

Start->Run->regedit
Hit Enter.. Open your registry and find the key below.

Go TO

HKEY_CURRENT_USER->Software->Microsoft->Windows->
CurrentVersion->Policies-> Explorer->

Right Click AND click on New -> Create Binary Value
Name that NoFolderOptions

Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value named "NoFolderOptions" and set it to equal "1" to hide the options or "0" to show the options.





User Key: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\
Explorer]
System Key: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\
Explorer]
Value Name: NoFolderOptions

Value Data: (0 = show options, 1 = hide options)

Than ALL Done...
Just Exit From Registry.. AND your FolderOption is Now Enabled OR Disabled...

Yes you can change your Pen drive ICON

Just Create a AutoRun.inf File in Your Pen drive.

Follow the steps :-

1.Open Notepad From Start->Run->Notepad->OK
Write the following code into it.

2.Save it in your Main directory of pendrive with name autorun.inf

3.Create a .ico file in Photoshop or in any ICON EDITOR.

►Change the "Attributes" data value from "40 01 00 20" to "50 01 00 20".Change the "CallForAttributes" dword value to "0x00000000" (double-click and change value data to 0).

►You must change both of these values to get the rename to appear.

►After performing the above steps you will be able to rename the icon like any other icon. Right-click the Recycle Bin icon on the desktop and click Rename and rename it to whatever you wish.

Lets Say The Image is: sample.jpg
Put this image in the Folder For which you Want to create Background

Create New Hard Drive Parttion to My computer

Yes, You can Access Your Folders as Drives In My Computer

Fool your Friends (Non-Expert),as the drive will show Disk Space of the folder's drive so it seems that the disk space has increased !!!

Just Follow This Stepwise Procedure:

► Start --> Run -->cmd
And hit Enter

► This will open "Command Prompt"

► Type subst Z: E:\KK and hit Enter key.

→ You can replace Z: with your desired New Drive Letter (Except existing Drive letters)!

→ You can replace E:\KK with the path of your favorite folder!

► Close It


This creates a new drive In My Computer! When you open this , it will open your folder!!!

1) Goto:
Start --> Run--> Regedit
Hit Enter
